QYAC meets biweekly on Tuesday evenings from March-June 2026 in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA.

Dreams of Hope is looking for 4-6 young people to join our Queer Youth Advisory Council (QYAC)!

QYAC is about growth and leadership—personal and creative. If you’ve been a part of our programs, this is your chance to take things to the next level.

With support from Dreams of Hope staff and teaching artists, QYAC members:

Set and satisfy a personal, career, or creative goal.
Explore what leadership means to them and grow into it.
Connect with queer artists, educators, leaders, and entrepreneurs for mentorship and real-world advice.
Get hands-on experience planning and promoting DOH programs and events.
Make a lasting impact as part of the DOH community.
Earn a stipend at the end of the program (yep, you get paid!).
